Life's greatest happiness is to be convinced we are loved ~ Victor Hugo

I'm hoping everyone enjoyed the 4th of July holiday weekend. I didn't get a chance to post the last quotes on Morning with Victor Hugo week yesterday but here they are now...what an amazing writer...I will have to read Les Miserables again.

Morning with Victor Hugo week:

An invasion of armies can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come. ~ Victor Hugo

Fame must have enemies, as light must have gnats. ~ Victor Hugo

Life's greatest happiness is to be convinced we are loved. ~ Victor Hugo

And here I am thinking of Michael Jackson again on the last quote....It's been barely a little more than a week...But all of his friends always said how loving he was...and how many people he made happy with his generosity and love giving people inspiration and dreams come true...And to think on how Neverland was built on the dream of love and his vision to be Peter Pan for always never growing up...

Al Malnik was a friend of Michael's and the Jackson family and was the godfather to Michael's son blanket and said " He built Neverland with love...Michael knew he had a God given talent he had to share with the world. Michael was filled with humility, sensitivity, reverence and respect for anyone and everyone. His love for his children equaled his love for his fans...Michael was a guy beyond amazing..."

His brother Jermaine Jackson said this week " Michael was my heart...Michael was a gift...Michael wanted good for everyone..."

Alicia Keys said " He is part of the fabric of our lives..."

Lou Ferigno said " Michael had a heart of gold..."

Florence LaRue, one of the lead singers of the Grammy winning 60's pop group called The 5th Dimension said " Michael was not only the greatest performer in the world but he was a very loving soul." She also said he was an inspiration to her and gave her group ideas. She went on to say " He brought a lot of love through his music. He wasn't selfish unlike so many entertainers."

The Executive producer and lead judge, Nigel Lythgoe from "So You think You Can Dance" said "Michael Jackson was the inspiration of this show and we all loved him...." there is also talk of them doing a Michael Jackson tribute with Paula Abdul doing the choreography....

Anyway..He certainly touched many lives and I still feel sad...
